Groundswell is a NYC-based nonprofit that brings together communities, professional artists, and grassroots organizations to use art as a tool for social change.

Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Teacher Training and Resources Project at the Metropolitan Museum of Art enables teachers to engage directly with the works of art in a collection; provides training to teachers within their school setting; and offers printed and web-based resources.

The Scholarship/Mentorship Program at the New York Academy of Art provides grants to full-time students on the basis of academic and artistic excellence, financial need, and an aptitude for mentoring in the community.
